0688 A Tan and Sandy Silence
You may not like the internet. You may disparage it to your friends or your congregation. You may find it foul and a prime example of the devil’s work on Earth. That’s your business.
But don’t complain about it to me. Name one other place where you can be interested in some tiny, obscure, and difficult-to-explain-to-your-wife-let-alone-a-stranger field of knowledge … well, not a field as much as garden … maybe a raised bed … no, no, a plastic flower pot of knowledge … and yet you can still find some other poor demented creature out there with a similar interest in the same field … no, not field but … aw forget it … in the same field with whom you can share your knowledge and perhaps impart a bit of your own.
So I milk cartoned this cover just yesterday and today — bing! — this shows up in my inbox. Richard, your diligence is impressive and your alacrity even more so. Thank you, sir!
