Here’s an attractive Argentinian cover of Dead Low Tide. Despite being a photo cover (well, I think it’s a photo cover), it’s nicely understated and well composed. Although not the same pose, it reminds me of this more familiar cover. I like the contrast between the nearly black silhouette and the blood red background, which I originally assumed was Serie Escarlata’s theme but is apparently just coincidence.

I’m not sure what the yellowish thing in the upper left hand corner is. The Florida boy who grew up watching rockets take off from the beach wants to say it’s a Saturn V lifting off through heavy cloud cover. The postapocalyptic lit enthusiast is sure it’s an H bomb. I don’t think it’s the sun unless it is dropping flaming rain on us. Cheap prizes will be given for the best interpretation.

    It’s a cotton candy accident.
