0401 Reading for Survival
February 19, 2013
There are only two editions of this unusual nonfiction effort. Without any actual evidence, I think this is the original while this one is a reprint. Update (02/26/2013): I got it wrong; see the comment. If you can find a copy, you should read it. It consists of a dialog between Travis McGee and Meyer about why reading helps mankind survive.
Don’t ask me why the cover is full of alligators. I didn’t draw it.
Fun fact: This is the only book written by John D MacDonald whose English title begins with the letter “R”.
Update (02/26/2013): Thanks to Steve Scott for knowing who the cover artist is.

Actually, this is a Book of the Month Club reprint, the other is the original, illustrated and designed by Adrianne Onderdonk Dudden.
