0221 The Quick Red Fox
Let’s pretend we don’t know what the storyline is and see what we can figure out from the cover. A piece of film is used as a frame, so it must be about photography. There’s a man taking a picture with a camera, so it must be about photography. There’s a second man taking a picture from behind some leaves, so it … ok, ok, I get it. It’s about photography.
There’s a very 1980s girl (I remember when eyeglasses were that big), so that dates this edition. And a red fox that is … really? … taking a dump in an ashtray. All right, no pretending now, I don’t remember that last item at all. That’s why I like re-reading John D MacDonald; you always find something new you never noticed before.

Have you seen me? I am a Greek edition of The Quick Red Fox, titled Hē κόκκινος αλεπού (The Red Fox), printed in 1981 by Papyros as Viper 1370.
